St Martin De Porres

Today we chose some Saints to do some research about. My one was on St Martin De Porres.He was one of the only black saints and he was humble to the poor, helped the sick and was very generous. I like him because of all the good things he did to help the poor.

Religious Education

Today in Religious Education we wrote some sentences like God is as loving as....

God is as forgiving as....Forgiveness is....Healing is....so we all wrote it in our on opinions.

Feather cloak

Today in Religious Education we made a feathers cloak . We each write a word that is important to us
and coloured it in then suck them all together and made a cool feather cloak (korowai).

Religious Education poster

Today in Religious Education I finished off my trust poster. We had to choose meaningful words that was important to us to make a little poster about. On my poster it has some people building the word "trust".On the sides it has three quotes about what trust can mean.

At the end of last term it was the feast day of Mary Mackillop.

We had a class room swap where we chose a buddy for the rest of the day and worked together and made some cool paintings.

Suzanne Aubert

On the 19th of June it was Suzanne Aubert's birthday. So our class made some coloured flowers. Suzanne Aubert is now in the process of becoming a saint of New Zealand. 

Symbols of the Holy Spirit

Recently in Religious Education we were naming the things that the Te Wairua Tapu (Holy Spirit) does in peoples lives and this is mine.

Good Friday

In Religious Education today we learnt about Good Friday and the symbols of it.This is my work of my Good Friday in my R.E book.
